Every now and again, a piece in our LUSH subscription program will be featured for purchase. We are thrilled to announce “Electric Chartreuse" is  going up for sale. 

People love the vibrant yellow and blue in the stark extra large pitcher. The hazelnut branches are my favorite variety because of their sculptural appeal. Each branch has received the utmost attention from trimming, sanding, priming, painting, finishing, and varnishing. 

I create the chartreuse mixing Farrow and Ball’s “Babouche”, Golden’s “Vert”, and a splash of Golden’s “Roman Gold” metallic finish. The branches are then varnished in a matte finish. 

The flowers are made of painter’s raw canvas, handcut, and created with several mediums and pastes mixed with Golden’s “Phalo Blue” and “Payne’s Gray” on both sides. 

Affixed to the branches, the canvas blooms are ready to be placed in the extra large pitcher where they spring to life, sitting exquisitely and whimsically for the world to see. 

She’s been on a fun journey and is ready for her permanent home.
